The team has had a few bad stretches of goaltending this year, but in general Ducks hockey is about good goaltending, good defense and physical play. If you don't become a Ducks fan, there are a few other teams that play the same kind of defense first physical hockey: Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Phoenix. Detroit used to be a good hockey club, but lately (the last two or three seasons) they're the Detroit Diving Wings. If you hate the theatrics of soccer players trying to draw a red card, who then aren't really injured afterall... you're not going to enjoy the current version of the Red Wings, who spend more time hitting the ice in hopes of drawing a penalty than they do actually playing hockey.
