I see that fans have provided you with the merits of our principle players, but these players can’t do it alone. How about a look at the rest of the team? We have Todd Marchant who is a consistent reliable player in whatever role he is asked to play. Ryan Carter, Mike Brown, and George Parros AKA the fourth line who not only allow the other players a few moments rest but also get the fans pumped up with their spirited play. One man I wouldn’t want to see headed my way if I were a player is Evgeny Artyukhin, he is fast and big and squashes the opposition with regularity (fans love it). Petteri Nokelainen has the potential to assume the role of his fellow Finnish teammates. And lets not forget our defenseman cause Scotty isn’t out there all alone. Sheldon Brookbank, Nick Boynton, Steve Eminger, Ryan Whitney, Brendan Mikkelson, and James “The Wiz” Wisniewski! All of these players stepped up to the plate this past Thursday night to make up for the loss of The Wiz when he blocked a shot and took it off the foot. And Wisniewski didn’t leave the bench right away after taking that hit, I watched as he sat on the bench with his head down and tried to work through the pain in hopes of staying out there with his team…that’s loyalty. If I had the time, I would list them all for you
but take a few moments to look at some of our future potential down in the minor league teams. Anaheim has a bright future and I hope you join our ranks to watch a great team in action.
Great Comment Irish! Way to show the love for the “Lesser Known Guys” I Love Carter and Brown, these two work great, and Marchant is constantly the “spokesman” for this team, and always has the right words.

Tonight’s game against the Calgary Flames was incredible!! John, hope you got a chance to watch it. Giguere was in net and did a fabulous job. He was helped out by a defense that is starting to really look good on the ice, our top Ryan/Perry/Getzlaf line took care of the goals, and Selanne sealed the deal with a beautiful shootout bid.
That’s how our Ducks do hockey!

I so wish I was at today’s amazing game! Giguere’s 32nd career shutout, two goals from the Finnish Flash, and Nicky Boynton’s first goal as a Duck (he deserves it too, I love what he’s doing on the blueline with Scotty). Our defense completely shut down a very good Hawks team!
Arguably our Ducks’ best game to date! Keep it up, boys! =D
Woo Way to go Ducks!
Just got in from my first NHL game ever! Blues Vs Detroit. And even though the Blues lost, I couldn’t ask for a better early Christmas present! Honestly, one of the top five moments in my life.
Not only did I see great scoring, I saw one of my all time favorite Ducks Andy Mac score in the shootout, and Paul Kariya got an assist as well!
Now I can’t wait till april when I see the Blues take on Anaheim!

Irish, I just wanted to thank you for pointing out the fantastic depth this team has! You have made a great case for those hard working guys! I think they need more ice time personally, and when things were looking bleak, they were the ones to step up and take charge! I’m personally a huge Ryan Carter fan, and before his injury, felt he was having some of the best games of his career. Todd Marchant is not showing any signs of slowing and with the brut size of Evegny Artyukhin, there is more firepower on this roster than one can imagine!
